Begin the journey with an international flight to Beijing. The overnight flight brings the group toward China’s historic capital and the start of the land-and-river tour.
Arrive in Beijing and transfer into the city. This arrival day provides time to settle in, meet the destination, and prepare for the guided touring ahead.
Spend a full day discovering Beijing and its historic importance. Guided touring introduces the cultural landmarks and urban character of China’s capital.
Continue the structured Beijing touring program with another day devoted to the capital and its best-known cultural sights before the journey continues west.
Tour Beijing’s traditional hutong neighborhoods, visit a family courtyard, and enjoy lunch in the historic community. Later, fly to Xi’an, the ancient city associated with the beginning of the Silk Road.
