Beyond the Uniform celebrates veterans and currently serving U.S. military service members who carry the spirit of service into the communities around them.
We are looking for people who continue to give their time, experience, leadership, and compassion to others through volunteer work, mentorship, advocacy, charitable efforts, public service, or meaningful support of those around them.
One selected honoree will receive a cruise vacation for two aboard Celebrity Cruises.
The cruise experience is a meaningful expression of gratitude for someone whose continued commitment to others deserves to be seen and celebrated.
Self-nominations are welcome, and there is no purchase necessary to nominate.
Continued service can take many forms
There is no single way to make a difference. We welcome stories of veterans and service members who continue to strengthen their communities in ways both visible and personal.
Volunteerism
Giving time and energy to local organizations, causes, schools, veterans, families, or neighbors.
Mentorship
Guiding young people, fellow service members, veterans, coworkers, or others through experience and encouragement.
Community Leadership
Bringing people together, leading initiatives, advocating for others, or helping a community respond to a need.
Everyday Impact
Consistently showing up for others through compassion, support, problem-solving, or quiet acts of service.

Beyond the Uniform is administered by Beyond the Castle Travel LLC, with support from Celebrity Cruises and local community sponsors.
A meaningful experience aboard Celebrity Cruises
The selected honoree receives a cruise experience for two aboard Celebrity Cruises, sailing in 2026 or 2027.
The experience offers the selected honoree and a guest time to reconnect, reflect, and enjoy a well-earned celebration together.
Final itinerary and accommodation details are confirmed after selection, based on available Celebrity itineraries and program terms.

Submit by the deadline
Nominations must be submitted by October 15, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. The selected honoree will be announced on Veterans Day, November 11, 2026.
Who can be nominated?
Eligible nominees are veterans and currently serving service members who call the Mid-Atlantic region home.
Regional Residency
Nominees must currently reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, or Maryland.
Military Service
Nominees must be currently serving U.S. military service members or U.S. military veterans.
Continued Community Service
We especially welcome stories of nominees who continue to give back, lead, mentor, volunteer, or support others.
