Beyond the Uniform: A Recognition of Service honors the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of veterans and service members throughout the Delaware Valley and surrounding communities.
With the support of Celebrity Cruises, one deserving veteran will be gifted a cruise vacation for two, sailing in 2026 or 2027. This experience is offered as a meaningful expression of gratitude, recognizing not only service rendered, but the ongoing journey of life beyond the uniform, reintegration, reflection, and connection with family and community.
This initiative reflects a shared belief that honoring veterans should be restorative, celebratory, and rooted in genuine care. Beyond the Uniform exists to recognize service in a way that is personal, dignified, and lasting, offering an experience that allows recipients to slow down, be celebrated, and truly enjoy what they have earned.
Honoring Service Beyond the Uniform
The Cruise Experience
The selected honoree will receive a cruise experience for two aboard Celebrity Cruises, sailing in 2026 or 2027. Known for its modern luxury approach to travel, Celebrity Cruises offers thoughtfully designed experiences where service, comfort, and attention to detail come together, guided by a philosophy that recognizes meaningful moments matter.
The sailing will be selected from a curated collection of available Celebrity itineraries. Specific details, including itinerary and accommodations, will be confirmed after the honoree is selected, allowing the experience to be planned with care, flexibility, and the individual’s preferences in mind.

How to Nominate a Veteran
To ensure the process remains fair and transparent, the following guidelines apply:
• Nominees must currently reside within the Delaware Valley or surrounding communities.
• Nominees must be U.S. military veterans.
• All nominations must be received by October 15, 2026.
• One honoree will be selected through a thoughtful review process conducted by Beyond the Uniform and its community partners. The selected honoree will be notified directly and recognized through official program announcements.

While Beyond the Uniform is rooted in the Delaware Valley, the initiative reflects a broader commitment to recognizing veterans through meaningful, community-centered experiences. As the program continues to grow, future recognition opportunities may expand to include additional communities.
